cookie policy
This Cookie Policy explains how Form Intel, LLC, a South Carolina limited liability company, operating through its digital-services department, form.digital ("form.digital," "we," "us," or "our"), uses cookies and similar technologies on the website located at digital.formintel.co (the "Site").
This Cookie Policy should be read together with our Privacy Policy (digital.formintel.co/privacy), Terms of Use (digital.formintel.co/terms), and Website Disclaimer (digital.formintel.co/disclaimer). The Terms of Use, including their provisions regarding limitation of liability, indemnification, governing law, dispute resolution, and jury-trial waiver, are incorporated into this Cookie Policy by reference and apply to any dispute arising from the use of cookies or similar technologies on the Site.
1. What Are Cookies
1.1 Definition. Cookies are small text files placed on your device (computer, tablet, or mobile phone) when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites function properly, improve performance, and provide information to site operators.
1.2 Similar Technologies. References to "cookies" in this policy include similar technologies such as pixel tags, web beacons, local storage, and device fingerprinting, to the extent we use them. As of the Effective Date, we do not use any of these similar technologies.
2. How We Use Cookies
We currently use only cookies that are strictly necessary for the Site to function. We do not use non-essential cookies, advertising cookies, or tracking cookies.
3. Cookies on the Site
The following describes the cookies currently in use on the Site:
3.1 Strictly Necessary Cookies. These cookies are essential for the Site to operate and cannot be switched off in our systems. They are typically set in response to actions you take on the Site, such as loading a page or submitting a form. The Site is hosted on Vercel, and Vercel may set essential cookies as part of its standard hosting infrastructure. These cookies are used for security, load balancing, routing, and site delivery. They do not collect personal information for marketing or analytics purposes. The specific cookies set may vary as Vercel updates its platform; we recommend checking your browser's developer tools (Application > Cookies) to view the cookies active on any given visit.
3.2 Analytics Cookies. We do not currently use analytics cookies. When we enable analytics in the future (anticipated through a privacy-respecting analytics tool integrated with our hosting provider), we will update this section to identify the specific cookies placed, their purpose, and their duration. Where required by applicable law, we will obtain your consent before placing analytics cookies on your device.
3.3 Advertising and Targeting Cookies. We do not use advertising or targeting cookies and have no plans to do so.
4. Your Choices
4.1 Browser Controls. Most web browsers allow you to manage cookie preferences through their settings. You can typically set your browser to: (i) accept all cookies; (ii) notify you when a cookie is set; (iii) block all cookies; or (iv) delete cookies that have already been set. Consult your browser's help documentation for instructions specific to your browser.
4.2 Effect of Disabling Cookies. Because the Site uses only strictly necessary cookies, disabling cookies in your browser may prevent the Site from functioning correctly. We do not currently use any non-essential cookies that can be selectively disabled.
4.3 Consent for Non-Essential Cookies. If we introduce non-essential cookies in the future, we will implement a consent mechanism that allows you to accept or reject those cookies before they are placed on your device, as required by applicable law. Strictly necessary cookies do not require consent.
5. Cookies and Your Privacy Rights
5.1 GDPR. If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, strictly necessary cookies are placed under the "legitimate interest" legal basis, as they are required for the Site to function. Any future non-essential cookies will be placed only with your prior consent, which you may withdraw at any time.
5.2 CCPA. Cookies used on the Site do not involve the sale or sharing of personal information as defined by the California Consumer Privacy Act. If this changes in the future, we will update this policy and our Privacy Policy accordingly.
5.3 Exercising Your Rights. To exercise any privacy rights related to cookies or the data they collect, contact us at privacy@formintel.co. The identity-verification process and response timelines described in our Privacy Policy (Sections 6.2 and 6.3) apply.
6. Third-Party Cookies
As of the Effective Date, no third-party cookies are set through the Site other than those placed by Vercel as described in Section 3.1. If third-party cookies are introduced in connection with analytics or other functionality, we will update this policy to identify those third parties and the cookies they set.
7. Do Not Track
Some browsers transmit a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal. Because there is no industry-standard interpretation of DNT signals, the Site does not currently respond to DNT signals. If a standard is adopted in the future, we will revisit this position and update this policy as appropriate.
8. Changes to This Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time, particularly when we enable analytics or add new site functionality. When we do, we will revise the "Effective Date" at the top of this page. If we make material changes — including the introduction of non-essential cookies — we will provide notice through the Site.
